When I woke up this morning, there was light in the air. The skies were painted in a solemn blue. There was a sense of serenity. Clarity. Like a widow with dry eyes the day after the death.
Another beginning.

Were you alluding to Tennis as the widow after losing its prince charming, Agassi forever!!

Well, must be my overimaginative mentation, sorry if I dug your melancholy to discover some mirth.

Bonjour!

Read about your Close Encounter of the Canine Kind. Dogs can talk, most men cant hear them.

At the price of sounding cynical... after a while, 'new beginnings' just dont seem like they are. You start to imagine the 'new' like its on a toothpaste box. Surrounded by a bright yellow jagged circle. Its been on the box for years, and will be there for years to come.

In other words, a bit insincere and not new at all.

Or maybe it is... because while the box doesnt change, the people using it change with each generation.

Light in the air, indeed. You wait, girl, someday you'll read Kafka (if you haven't already) and experience deja vu.
